About Mila
My mission is to equip people with practical tools to regulate stress, restore energy, and build resilience—before burnout occurs—through simple, evidence-based methods that fit into real life.
My values
Meaning
I focus on work that creates real impact—helping people improve how they live and work, not just how they perform. And helping the ones in need means a lot to me, volunteering, charity projects. So, we build better, happier ourselves, bring positive change in our communities and world.
Growth
I believe in continuous development. As a child I had poor education and becoming adult stepped into path of growth - taking extra educational course, workshop, training, book, findinding a consultant in particalar topic. Growth is a passion of my life and I consider that it is a solution of many issues. Because issue usually is about not knowing something. I challenge you to constant growth!
Simplicity
I translate complex concepts into practical tools. Effective tools should be clear, accessible, and easy to apply.
Creativity
I love to create for you something specialy tailored to your needs. Having a treasure of knowing many tools, I enjoy through feedback from you, what I see, hear, feel from you to create a beautiful program that supports you the best. And I love to use creative tools like art to boost reselience, decrease stress, improve effectiveness.
I’m Mila, founder of Mila Balance & Growth
I help individuals, teams, and organisations manage stress, restore energy, and build resilience through practical, science-informed mind–body approaches.
Originally from Ukraine, I have been living and working in the Netherlands for the past 10 years.
I completed a five-year Master’s degree in International Relations, during which I experienced the effects of sustained academic pressure, long study hours, and limited rest. My professional background included experience in a high-demand corporate environment, where performance, deadlines, and constant activity were part of daily work.
Over time, I experienced firsthand the impact of prolonged stress and mental overload. This led me to take a more structured and intentional approach to understanding how stress affects both performance and wellbeing — and how it can be managed more effectively.
I attended different trainings, programmes, trainings focused on burnout, reselience, boundaries, Nonviolent Communication.
I trained also in a range of evidence-based and body-oriented methods, including trauma-sensitive yoga, art therapy, tapping, Qi Gong, meditation, somatic exercises and nervous system regulation techniques. My own experience and combination with the knowledge allows me to bridge practical tools with a deeper understanding of how people function under pressure, what they need and how to help.
Today, I work with a diverse range of clients — from professionals and private individuals to teams, universities, and organisations. Many of the people I support are capable and committed, but operate under sustained pressure, often without the time or tools for self regulation and hence without ability to successfully adapt to stressors.
Through workshops, trainings, and sessions, I provide structured and accessible techniques that help participants to:
-
regulate stress and reduce mental overload
-
improve focus, clarity
-
restore energy and prevent burnout
-
develop resilience in demanding environments
-
to integrate new healthy tools, habbits into their routine
My approach is practical, grounded, and adaptable to different contexts — from corporate settings and academic environments to individual support. The focus is on tools that can be realistically applied within busy schedules and integrated into everyday routines.
In addition to my professional work, I support initiatives for Ukrainian refugees and contribute to projects focused on mental health support for children affected by war, donating 10 % of my profit.
