Many people feel tired, stressed, or overwhelmed — but don’t know how serious it is.

Burnout doesn’t happen overnight. It develops gradually, in stages.

This short self-test will help you:

  • understand where you are

  • recognize early warning signs

  • take action before it becomes more serious

👉 This is not a medical diagnosis. It is a practical awareness tool.

For each statement, choose:

  • 0 = Not at all

  • 1 = Sometimes

  • 2 = Often

  • 3 = Almost always

  1. I feel tired even after sleeping

  2. My energy drops during the day

  3. My body feels tense (shoulders, jaw, chest)

  4. I have trouble falling or staying asleep

  5. I feel physically drained without clear reason

  6. I find it harder to concentrate

  7. I overthink simple things

  8. I feel mentally overloaded

  9. Small tasks feel heavy

  10. I feel like I’m constantly “on”

  11. I feel more irritable than usual

  12. I feel emotionally drained

  13. I feel less motivated

  14. Things I used to enjoy feel less interesting

  15. I feel disconnected from myself

  16. I keep pushing even when I feel exhausted

  17. I ignore signs that I need rest

  18. I feel guilty when I slow down

  19. I struggle to relax, even in free time

  20. I feel like I have to keep going no matter what

YOUR SCORE

Add your points:

  • 0–20

  • 21–40

  • 41–60

RESULTS

🟢 0–20 → Balanced (with mild stress)

You are generally coping well, but some stress is present.

👉 Focus:

  • maintain balance

  • build small daily recovery habits

🟡 21–40 → Early Warning Stage

Stress is starting to accumulate.

You may still function well, but your system is under pressure.

👉 Focus:

  • start regulating your stress daily

  • don’t wait until it gets worse

🟠 41–60 → High Stress / Pre-Burnout

Your body and mind are overloaded.

You may feel constantly tired, tense, or overwhelmed.

👉 Focus:

  • reduce pressure

  • actively restore your energy

  • take this seriously

🔴 61+ → Burnout Risk

Your system is likely exhausted.

This is not just stress — this is depletion.

👉 Focus:

  • prioritize recovery

  • seek structured support

  • avoid pushing further

Burnout is not about weakness.

It is often the result of:

  • long-term pressure

  • lack of recovery

  • ignoring early signals

The earlier you act, the easier it is to recover.
